Attribute image sizes

This is probably a stupid question, but how do you set the sizes for the attribute images?

I have a feeling that the image will display in its original size...

(So you probably have to use an image editor to adjust the size to what you feel is suitable).

There may be a setting, but I don't know of it.

I found that for my purpose a resize in my image editor to 50x50 pixels did the trick. My attributes are for crystal choices for bead rings.

Anyone know how I can minimize the space between each attribute? Please see link above.
