No catalog - only thing working is Admin Pages

I've tried installing the latest version several times over the last two days (Unix Servers). Each time the install completes, I am able to login and modify the admin pages without any problems. however, I am unable to access the actual catalog pages. I only get the following page

Both configure files appear to be fine. I found many posts where the catalog works but admin doesn't but not the other way around. Am I missing something?

do you still have the install directory? Should be zc_install or something of that nature. (Fantastico does not load it)

If you have it, try going to www.yourcart.com/zc_install and see if it gives you the option to update the config. It should be on the third screen in.

If it doesn't, DON"T install or you will lose things. Not having the upgrade option indicates that you may not have it there, you may have erred in setting the permissions, etc.

Although you may have looked at it 37 different ways, there's something wrong in includes/configure.php.

BTW turn off any SSL in the configs while troubleshooting.

I'm having exactly the same problem: the Admin works, but no store Has anyone here ever resolved this problem? I have correctly configured everything (that I can think of), re-installed twice from scratch, and get the same result each time: instead of a store, I get "You are seeing this page for one or more reasons:" .

The only thing I can think of is that on Network Solutions, the thing doesn't want to play with netsol's "PHP as CGI", for which I get a warning during the install.

remember there are two configures and they should not be the same. Recheck the includes/configure.php. You may just find a typing error or a missing '
