The product tables in zencart do a lot of cross-referencing, so it's going to be very challenging to populate your dbase with product info using phpMyAdmin.

Does cubecart allow you to EXPORT your product data as a CSV, or tab-delimited TXT ?

If so, you could probably use zencart's easypopulate to accomplish the upload, after you have re-arranged your cubecart CSV to conform to easypopulate conventions.

Thanks for the reply. I use a CSV file to populate my store so that's no problem. So it looks like I will be changing to zencart.

I wrote a converter a long time ago from cubecart to osc, you might be able to find it and modify it for your needs....

If you have time, it would be interesting to hear about how you made the decision to switch.

I am moving from CubeCart to ZenCart.
The only problem that I really have is getting my CubeCart 3 skins converted to ZenCart Skins(Templates).

I wish I had started out using ZenCart in the first place. I am looking forward to ZenCart 1.4!!!

I have already posted in the Commercial Help Wanted Forum Section.

Charles2008, might not be a good idea to copy Templates made for CubeCart. Odds are they have Copyrights of some kind and you could be opening a can of worms.

Best to get / use a Template already designed for Zen Cart or purchase new; then customize it for your use.

The skins that I need converted are ones that I bought.
I don't know if that makes much of a difference but it shouldn't.

Sorry, thought you were using Templates provided by CubeCart.
As these are Templates you purchased, don't see any problems (Legal or Otherwise) with having them converted.

Might cost a bit though. Template conversions are not routine and take time. Might even be better if you have the original PSDs, as the those can easily be sliced for perfect use.
