Language related Product Setup question...

Hello Zen Cart Community!

I am setting up an online book store. The author has books in two languages, so I installed English + Spanish as these are the books languages so far.

Different quatities of each book require me to use different items on each book, so adding the description translations will not cut it...

Zen Cart is not ignoring blank fields for item name or description, if they are not used at all - an item representation is still created for that language and regardless of the language we are using to see the store, both items are shown, (which in fact is only one item with two language descriptions).

Shouldnt ZenCart, totally ignore the language duality? Say, if there are two or more languages installed, show the item based on its language... or let admins define when to show the item... for instance, I want spanish items to be shown only when spanish language is selected, and english items to be shown only when that language is selected at the storefront... can this be done!?
