How to order the dropdown.

I'm stuck trying to figure out how to order items on my dropdown.

I am doing fine with creating attributes, however how do you change the order of the dropdowns? Say I have three sizes and I want small to go first on the dropdown (default selected) followed by medium, then large. How do I go about making them in that order? Currently it sticks large on top followed by medium and then small.

Any help here would be much appreciated.

Admin>Catalog>Attributes Controller

Select the product the values are for

Then for each value..

Click the Edit button at the right

Type in a different order number (under 'Prices and Weights' heading)

Click Update

and after doing as Steven300 described, you generally have to go to Catalog>Option Value Sorter, and use "Update All Products' Attribute Sort Orders
to match Option Value Default Sort Orders".

(I've found that I have to do the above every time I add new products with attributes, but your mileage may vary. :))
