    Lol, everyone south of Nowata gets Nosleepa! J/K. You must be familiar with the area.

    I'm totally confused now as to what you're talking about. The main logo image is the logo.gif and tha background image is called sage_stripes.gif. Which image in the stylesheet are you talking about? I also did a search for the taglineWrapp and have no clue what you're referring to! All I know is that I wanted an image tagline instead of text, so I put that image there. I really didn't alter that much of this css. I don't know where the original came from, but I've just been trying to customize it to my needs. I don't know quite enough about Zen Cart to try to write stuff myself!

    So how can I fix all this?! Lol.

    you have several things fighting with each other.

    Your call for
    #navMainWrapper, #navSuppWrapper, #navCatTabsWrapper {
    background-color:#8A8D81;
    background-image:url(../images/tile_back.gif);
    color:#FFFFFF;
    font-weight:bold;
    height:1%;
    margin:0em;
    padding:0.5em 0.2em;
    }
    does not affect the site if the items in red are removed from the CSS and the removing the line in purple takes some of the blank space out at the top of the page.

    The logo.gif is a width of 745 while the site is 750. A logoWrapper has been added to the stylesheet to apparently add more to the logo.gif using the slogan.jpg It is also 745 versus 750 but one is aligned left and the other centered. Hence the funny little corners under "Your main avenue for all.."

    Ok I took out all that extra stuff and it made it look a little different. The most obvious difference is the light green that is now above the logo and seems to split the words Home and Log In. ??

    I think I noticed what you were talking about earlier, calling the image that wasn't there. If you "View Source" you will see where the id"logo" calls for the image logo.gif while in the css the logoWrapper calls for the header_bg.jpg. When rendered all together it looks like a mess. Is that what you were talking about? Should I make the logo and slogan both 750 (would it actually help?) I will go in and align both to center, assuming center is what it's supposed to be. (what actual page do I align those on?) On my computer, I don't see the funny little corners under "Your main avenue..." I'm working with IE- not sure if that's the difference we're seeing.

    I'm beginning to think it would just be easier to find a clean css page and start fresh from there with my alterations. I THOUGHT I originally copied the default css (probably the Classic folder) and just altered IT, but who knows (I'm picking back up the building process after almost a year.) At this point I'm close to having it be what I'd like it to be, but I also HATE having a mess to deal with later, and extra coding that serves no purpose. So I don't know. My brain is fried at this hour though!

    This was going to be an edit on my last post to prevent double posting, but I guess I tried after the time limit...

    I see the little corners you were talking about. I installed Firefox. The green at the top that I was talking about that seems to cut off the words Home and Log In only appears in IE though. Ugh. I guess I'll have to deal with this tomorrow. It's almost 6am. Hopefully you are able to help me tomorrow! Thanks for everything! Please come back! :)

    OOOOkay... I went in and copied the classic css and just started fresh for mine. Here's the stuff I can think of that I've done so far:

    The old setup had the header_bg, the logo and the slogan (the header_bg was ignored, the logo was make into what the header_bg should have been, and the slogan was used for the tagline.) I merged the header_bg and the slogan and now it's all one big header_bg (I changed the size accordingly in the css to 100px) and I deleted (in the header.php) where I had put a link to the slogan image. So now I don't have the slogan placed where the logo should have been, and instead of getting rid of the logo all together, I just made a little 1x1px logo that's the same color as my the background color in my header_bg. That way I could leave all the coding in tact and not alter too much. Make sense so far? (Probably not, but maybe you can just view the source again and see that it's been cleaned up!) I'm not completely finished editing the css file, but that will have to be done as I get categories and products and can really see what I'm working with. If you get a chance to peek at the source and tell me anything else that needs to be changed, I would appreciate it! (What I've done seems to have fixed the funky way it looked in FireFox too.)

    Sorry to anyone else who has come here looking for the answer to the very original question. I know my situation was different enough that no one else will probably benefit from this thread. When I'm all finished with the css, I will try to write what changes I made in order to make it appear the way I originally asked how to do.
