    Default Couple Newbie Questions

    Hey,

    My website is www.nafightstore.com

I would like to have a welcome message at the top middle of my site. Where can I edit that?

Also at the top left section of my browser I would like to delete the ecommernce part and have something like North American Fight Store ....

I added a main page message, thanks for the help. But I still can't find where to change where it says Zen Cart!, the art of e commernce- in the top left of my browser. Also how do i submit my site to search engines?

Use the developers tool, it will change your life (ok, maybe not).

Log into your admin, go to Tools -> Developers Tool Kit

On the last search box, enter in the text you want to find and then select Admin/Catalog from the drop down menu. hit search and give your site a few seconds. A list of places this text appears will populate.

I can't recommend enough buying the new zen cart book. I have done several e-commerce sites in teh past and just recently completed my first zen cart. The book literally saved me dozens of hours by explaining how to edit certain files.
