New Centre Box for Text

Hi,

I would like to add some more text to the home page of my site, below the categories that are displayed with images. I have the intro etc above however this means that i have a gap below which i would like to fill in with useful text for the readers.....

Sorry to be a pain but additionally within the meta tag keywords i have the following
<meta name="msvalidate.01" content="432A0B0BBCE44DD0A1E098A37C9793FC" />"
This was already there before i started to put my key words in - can i delete it?

I would be very grateful for any help and also any feedback on the site.

I have used a lot of copy and paste from MS powerpoint and word on the site - does this make any difference?

MS software will put lots of proprietary tags and code in a file, so that it can only be viewed properly in other MS apps.
