Secure site issue

Hi , i have had a couple of people saying to me that my site is not secure, i have a ssl certificate installed and have been operating for well over a year, if it is possible could someone have a look and tell me if something is not set up correctly, many thanks Rod www.earlcraftncake.com

I will try to find the emails re security probs. when you say go through the order process , yes i have done this but what exactly would i be looking for as regards to a security issue , also please feel free to open an account and order something , i can delete it easy enough ( we are a ma & pa business) Rod

When someone refers to a site not being secure, it usually means one of two things.

1. It can mean that they get a warning message saying that there are secure and non-secure items on the page. This often occurs on SSL pages where there are images that are linked to using an http, instead of https. This tutorial explains a bit more.

2. It can mean that there is no SSL at all.

Having just created a test account/order, both of the above problems don't seem applicable. There was nothing which suggested to me that your site is not secure.

Thanks Steven, i thought that it was ok, i will get more detail from anyone who claims the site to be unsecure in future, i suspect that they are not reading the warnings they see, or have some setting wrong on there browser or something of that nature, thanks again

Are ou holding the credit card details in a sesion on your server if so have you installed blowish for these or the card detals would be held in clear text.

The rest seem ok but the server seems very slow

How are you collecting the credit card details?
Who are you using as a Payment service provider?

we collect the credit card details through the zen cart module and the procces them through virtualpos via banks system,
