    Default Country drop down

I want to remove some countries from the country drop down and put United Kingdom at the top.

Remove - I assume this is done in countries/ zones in Admin, but I can't find how to change the country order.

Default Country id in DROPDOWN is set in ADMIN...CONFIGURATION...CUSTOMER DETAILS.

    Delete unwanted countries in ADMIN...LOCATIONS/TAXES...Countries

I understand that the default country is set in ADMIN...CONFIGURATION...CUSTOMER DETAILS but I want to move UK to the top of the list.

The sort order is determined alphabetically, and to put UK at the top will require specialist programming. If you put UK as your default country for customers, it will appear by default, in the dropdown window. It's therefore not necessary to have it at the top, because it's immediately visible anyway.

UK is set as default but on some (i think for mod specific dropdowns) it doesn't appear first.
I'll play around and see what I can sort.

Wherever customer activity is involved, the default country will display in the dropdown - if the customer is NOT logged in. (This includes mods such as shipping estimator).

Once a shopper logs in, zencart will display that customer's country based on their primary address.

Unless you are selling to all 250 countries worldwide, it's possible to get rid of all countries where you don't sell, thus reducing the length of the country selector drop-down. Even if this is 10 - 20 countries, alphabetic listing is preferred by customers - because psychologically, that's how they expect it to be.

I can speak from personal experience where I've visited some sites, not noticed they had "UK" at the top, scrolled down and found "UGANDA" then "UKRAINE" - but no UK - so I abandoned the site !
