Yes that where I have the price in the second filed and left the rest blank.
totaly lost on this one I've spent two days on this and I have read every post I can find on it my brain must just be missing something?
Are you using a Template Monster template ?
(If you followed my instructions then it should show a price... I just did this procedure on my test site and it shows a price:
http://www.buysouthafrican.co.uk/sho...&products_id=1 )
Template Monster templates are notorious for not behaving properly! Try switching back to CLASSIC template for a bit - and see if this gets the price to show.
Yes I'm useing a Template Monster template!!!!
ok so I know where to find the files to the template in my ftp but how do I change the one I wont to use?
In your ADMIN panel, look under TOOLS for "Template Selection". You can switch to "Classic", then back to your own template quite easily.
ok I changed template but it did not change anything it still shows no starting at price
OK so it seems the template is not to blame.
GO TO:-
Admin...Catalog...Categories/Products
Open the Category "Cigars by the Brand"
Open the SUB Category: DON PEPIN GARCIA
Open the PRODUCT: Don Pepin Garcia-Black
Make sure you've done the following:-
![]()
AHA !!!
I see you are using LINKED products feature !
Your Don Pepin Garcia-Black
Appears in MORE THAN ONE CATEGORY.
You must edit the Product in its MASTER CATEGORY:
Are you getting this at the top of your product edit screen?
![]()
yep thats how I got it
Now you need to SET A MASTER CATEGORY (from the drop-down) for that product, and edit ONLY that data. (ie: don't edit the LINKED product in the linked category - only edit product data when the product is in the Master Category.)
