Aust Post and International shipping

Hi All,

New Zenner here with a site setup however got a nasty shock with the first order where I had not setup International shipping.

I have the Austpost module installed, its a fantastic module however Im not sure what to tick for International parcels.

I ticked the registered overseas however when I say select the US and Washington it fails to calculate the post.

What are the best options that I should have ticked for International shipping? My products range from 30grams to 1000grams.

I suggest you start out by unticking all of the International shipping options except AIR and Insured AIR. Add the others only if you have a need.

As for failing to calculate the post to any given destination there could be many different reasons for this, some of them due to checks in the AP module itself, others because of results returned by the Austpost servers. Not all shipping methods are available to all destinations.
