    Default Override language/english/header.php

Ok have installed xampp +Zen 1.3.7.1 as per Go Koon Hoek book.
All appears to work ok, have downloaded and installed mostly_grey template into includes/template/mostly_grey, Ihave edited the template.info and made it my custom template. Have also edit the logo in the images folder and have changed some colors in the css stylesheet, uploaded through tools etc with everything working.

Now moved onto languages/english/header.php to edit TagLine etc.
I created a custom folder at languages/english/custom then copied header.php from english/header.php pasted into custom then edit my TagLine, went to Tools, Edit, custom, upload NOTHING.
Highlighted my custom to uppercase, english/CUSTOM/header.php NOTHING.
Went to support/FAQ down loaded overrides chart, Hmm, OK, move english/CUSTOM/header.php to languages/CUSTOM/header NOTHING.
Read some more in support/FAQ, OK, Try language/CUSTOM/custom/header.php NOTHING. I have since tried every thing I can think of. the more I read the more confused I get, as every thing I try does not work.
If I alter the core file no problem it changes. WHAT/WHERE AM I DOING/GOING WRONG.

Ihave edited the template.info and made it my custom template
    What name is this?
Did you enable it in the admin?
went to Tools, Edit, custom, upload NOTHING.
What is this? There is no upload function?

Your path for header.php should be if you edited the template_info.php file to read "custom"

    includes/languages/english/custom/header.php

I have done exactly that language/includes/english/custom/header.php
but the text remains the same. I refresh the page after i make a change but nothing no change. I was unsure if you had to upload through the template selection as nothing will change when i edit my english/custom/header.php page. If i edit the core file the change takes place. The misses has just walked in and pointed out a spelling error in my custom folder name BINGO. Sorry about that, thanks anyway.
