How do i prevent zen car from rounding up my price, i am using the MSRP and Cost margin mod, however when ever i have a price of 19.99 and i click update or insert it list the price as 20.00 I want ti to just stay the 19.99
Lextechs.com Powered By ZenCart
Same problem here.
When adding a product I insert 9.99 as price(tax included), but on the website itself 10.00 shows. Very annoying! I use 1.3.8a by the way
When I set decimals to 4 numbers the website publishes 9.9901
It's a bit weird to show my customers 4 decimals..
Go to the Localization ... Currencies ...
What is the Default Currency?
What are the Settings for that?
Do you use multiple currencies or just 1?

So far, I cannot reproduce the error with these values ...
Have you an URL for your site where we could perhaps peek at this?
If you edit the Product, what values are you seeing on the Price Gross and Net?

The website url is: www.antoniosespresso.nl
Example: In te admin area I've inserted a product called CLARIS plus filter cartridge voor ENA, I priced it 9.99 EUR, this is tax included.
Taxes in the Netherlands is 19% by the way.
Now when I look at the same product on the website: http://www.antoniosespresso.nl/index...roducts_id=288
It shows the price 10.00 EUR
When I'm editting the product, or inserting 9.99 as price GROS the value of NET shows: 8.3950 (4 decimals, why I don't know)
In my view it has nothing to do with rounding of to 2 decimals, cause 10.00 is 2 decimals. I think the damage is already done way back in the code, just can't find where and how. Perhaps the rounding is done too soon in the calculation.
I hope I'm making some sense.
Greetz Antonios
I have found a way around this problem.
Instead op inserting the GROS price 9.99, I insert 9.9899, and then the website displays 9.99 as my price.
It's a bit annoying to do this all the time so I hope someone comes with a better solution one day, or that zen-cart team will pick this up as a real bug and fix it in the next release.
Thanks everybody
Antonios
Same problem here (1.3.8a on Red Hat enterprise, PHP5, MySQL 5)
Just had a client ask me why all the prices had not been set correctly, despite me entering them all correctly - please, please sort this problem out! It's a real showstopper for us.
Incientally - thanks for Zen Cart generally though. Really impressive piece of software![]()
On the site antonios posted, I see 9.99 ...
Have you an URL to your site where your 9.99 product is rounding to 10.00?
