Credit Card/Security Information

I am using the GlobalPayment Inc payment module. I would like to know whether Zen-cart stores any credit-card information on the server.

Also, what kind of security measures should I take into consideration before making the shop live?

I'm not familiar with GlobalPayment Inc. Is it a gateway like authorize.net or PayPal? If so, no credit card information will be stored in your database.

If you manually process credit card orders, part of the number will be stored in the database and the rest will be emailed to you. This is done for security. To process the order, you have to retrieve the rest of the number through your cart's admin.
