Location of General Template

On each page there is a menu at the top and menu at the bottom followed by a copyright. The rest of the templates seem to fit inside of this. Does anyone know which module contains the html/php that generates the code that is displayed on every page?

The template files in general are located in /includes/templates/, surprisingly enough.

The file that generates and organizes the overall page layout is /includes/templates/your_template/common/tpl_main_page.php, which calls in many other template files for the individual parts of the page.

Not html...If I understand what you are seeking then look at the template you have active first and if not overriden in the template look to template_default and for these files

template_name/common/tpl_header.php
template_name/common/tpl_footer.php
template_name/common/tpl_main_page.php
