Checkout Error when Title of product contains (" or ')

I am getting an error when a customer adds a product from our catalog that contains a ( " ) or ( ' ) in the title of the product. Here is an example of a product.

The symbols are used to describe feet ( ' ) or inches ( " ). When a product is in the cart that contains these symbols and they checkout there credit card gets charged but no new order is created and they get an error message.

Does anyone know a fix for this problem?
