UPS and USPS modules have quit working

Yes - it's been posted before, but I haven't seen any resolution posted, other than re-installing the software. My install was done by a VERY reliable source - and was working fine until a couple of days ago. Now, when orders try to come in, the user gets the following"

United Parcel Service
We are unable to obtain a rate quote for UPS shipping.
Please contact the store if no other alternative is shown.

United States Postal Service We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.

I've contacted my host to see if there's a problem there - in the meantime, I haven't had an order come in for a couple of days!!!

Has your host changed anything recently? ie: security changes? or PHP version changes? disabling fsockopen() function in PHP?

The hosting company is saying they haven't changed anything, but all my stores are broken.

I'm checking with them again.

Does your host require that you have a copy of your files for the shared ssl somewhere like https://prophet.serversecured.net/~gear4vet?

Were the new files copied to this location?

I've never had to copy anything there before.
Here was the response from the hosting co:

Greetings
our records indicate that there have been no changes made to the server recently. (besides the normal adding and removing of accounts and domains. )

I can't figure this one out (duh) - I've gotten orders from 3 different stores this week - then all of a sudden, all of them quit working. One is 1.3.7, one is 1.3.8a, one is 1.3.5/1.3.6

Last order on one was 4/14, second was 4/13, third was 4/11.

If you turn on the USPS debug mode in your Zen Cart admin, your quote results will be emailed to you.

Thanks. Tried that, entered a test order.
The debug email was completely blank.

If you could PM me with your Admin info I can try looking at things from that side when I get time ...

Including your User ID for USPS would be helpful so I can test it on one of my servers to see if it is something related there ...

I am still inclined to think this is server related or ... something has happened to corrupt file(s) on your server resulting in this ...

It is odd to have both go down at the same time when others are not experiencing the same issue ...

I am out of town at the moment, but I will check back periodically to see if you PMd me ...
