    Default Usps Problems...help!!!

    HELLO once again peeps...i was just goin thru my shippign options and i have express, priority, first class and parcel post as options to choose from..when i select priority,first class or parcel post the express option is showing up on the next page of the check out process..it is only allowing express shipping option although i selected one of the others

    i uninstalled the module in the admin section and reinstall and same thing
    should i call usps? or is it another problem?

    You are using v1.3.7.1 or older, but USPS changed their operation, and you need the newer version of the USPS module. Check the "Release Announcements" section of the forum for the new module.

    hey thanks for the info..i have no clue about these things so i really need some help man....i downloaded the new v1.3.8a and saved to my desktop and then extracted the files...what do i do now to get this usps module back in action?

    You could do the full upgrade to v1.3.8, or you could just install the updated USPS module:

    ok this looks much easier....i downloaded the patch and unzipped it to my desktop...can u tell me where i need to upload it now? do i go into my cpanel and change some codes..i have no idea..sorry once again but really have no experience in this ...thanks

    There are two files in the zip are to replace the existing files stored in similar folder structure on your site.

    You'll need an FTP program to do that ... your hosting company probably has some FAQs on how to set up an FTP program with your hosting account. Then you essentially drag-and-drop the files from your PC to the server.
