Does Zen log error messages my site visitors might see?

Does Zen Cart log any PHP or MySQL errors that might be generated and displayed to site visitors? I have tested my site well, and do not get errors when testing all the normal things (adding customers, checking out etc). But a customer reached out to me today saying they were getting a error (sounded like a MySQL error) when trying to add their product selection to the cart. It would be great if Zen would log these errors somehow so I can be aware right away (as we know most wont report a problem, but will just buy from someone else!).

Does Zen Cart do this?

Is this even technically possible in PHP?

You could try the following tool, but it won't record MySQL errors:
