    Default Re: LinkPoint General Question

Thank you so much... I think I have got it working by uploading the pem file. I will keep doing some test orders and let you know if I run into any more issues. Thanks again.

    Default Re: LinkPoint General Question

I am trying to test the linkpoint gateway in version 1.3.8a. I have setup our gateway api with linkpoint and installed the payment module in zencart using test mode, TESTING: Successful. However, it appears that the test transaction was never sent to linkpoint via the api. Is the test mode in zencart intended to actually submit a test transaction through the linkpoint gateway? Can anyone please explain the proper steps to successfully test the gateway in zencart? Given the following information, am I missing something? Any input would be great!

I submitted a test order which appeared to be successful but after logging into our virtual terminal, I see no new transactions. One bit of information in the credit card review admin panel contains the following: 'Credit Card Server Time: Not Connected'. I received the following email from zencart and I am not sure what to make of it:

    ---
Potential Fraudulent Order - Bad Address - Action Required
This alert occurs because the "Approval Code" below does not contain the
    expected YY response.
Thus, you might want to verify the address with the customer prior to
shipping, or be sure to use Registered Mail with Signature Required in case
    they file a chargeback.

    Customer Name: David xxxx

    AVS Result:

    Order Number:
    Transaction Date and Time:
    Approval Code:
    Reference Number:

    Error Message:

    Transaction Result: APPROVED

Message: This is a test transaction and will not show up in the Reports

    Fraud Score: Not Enabled

    AVS CODE MEANINGS:
YY** = Street Address and Zip Code match.
YN** = Street Address matches but Zip Code does NOT match.
YX** = Street Address matches, but Zip Code comparison unavailable.
NY** = Street Address DOES NOT match, but Zip Code matches.
XY** = Street Address check not available, but Zip Code matches.
NN** = Street Address DOES NOT MATCH and Zip Code DOES NOT MATCH.
NX** = Street Address DOES NOT MATCH and Zip Code comparison unavailable.
XN** = Street Address check not available. Zip Code DOES NOT MATCH.
XX** = Neither validation is available.

In addition, I ran the cURL test script previously mentioned from Dr.Byte which I believe indicates that cURL is installed and working (I will post the test script message if necessary).

Transactions done in test mode don't show up in the gateway:

If you want a full test (which you SHOULD do) to confirm that the money goes from the CC all the way to your bank, you NEED to do a live transaction. As with anything, that's the ONLY way to test the payment all the way through.
