    Default LinkPoint General Question

Ok, this is the first time I have ever had to actually setup a site to accept credit cards. I have opened an account with LinkPoint (FirstData) and have activated the LinkPoint/YourPay API module via the Admin section of Zen-Cart and entered my information. I currently have it setup in TESTING: Successful mode.

With everything I have setup, when I got to the site and attempt to complete a transaction I get the following error:

"We appologize for the inconvenience, but we are presently unable to contact the Credit Card company for authorization. Please contact the Store Owner for payment alternatives."

Am I missing something? Like I said I have never set up a site to process credit cards, so I hope it is something simple I am missing. Any new help is appreciated.

    Thanks

    Who are you hosted with?
The Linkpoint module requires that your hosting company has port 1129 open on the firewall in order to talk to the Linkpoint gateway server and process the cards.

I am hosting with Host Gator... I had them open up port 1129, but I am still getting the same warning. Is there anything else you could think of? I appreciate your help.

In your /extras folder is a file named curltest.php ... point your browser to it, and add ?linkpoint=1 to the URL, and either post the link (preferred), or the results. Do you see a CURL error or just a missing-parameter error?

I am running 1.3.7 still, and it seems I do not have the extras/curltest.php page... Where can I get this from? Sorry

Okay, that confirms that your CURL and port 1129 are working fine.

Your problem must be something with your module settings. Are you sure you're using the right user/key settings in your linkpoint module in the admin?

There is a debug option in 1.3.8 that has to be manually enabled in 1.3.7: click on Edit for your linkpoint module. Then add &debug=ON to the URL, and press Enter. Then scroll down and enable the debug logging option.

Then do a test transaction and look at the debug output for indications of what the problems are.

Or, before doing that, click on Admin->Customers->Linkpoint CC Review to see the debug.

I am not sure what you mean by the user/key settings. Under the Admin - Modules - Payment option I have the Linkpoint/YourPay API enabled. When I edit the settings on this the only thing I have added was my Merchant ID.

Is there another section in the admin were I need to add something?
