Add product to cart and stay in product listing

Hi all,

Hopefully a quick question.

Is there a function that can be changed so that when a customer is in the product listing and clicks add to cart they stay in the product listing?

Im not using the add to cart at the top and bottom of the product listing I have it turned on for each product.

Yes you can very easily.

admin panel/ configuration/ my store/ Display Cart After Adding Product

1. set to false

Haredo's suggestion stops the cart from displaying... but if you have Add To Cart buttons below each product on the Product Listing page, all this does is send the shopper to the Product Info Page (after an item has been added).

Brett's requirement is to KEEP the Product Listing page in view, after an item has been added fom it...

Interestingly, if you list All Products Page, then it will stay on the page, but won't do so if you show Product Listing Page.

Perhaps you should see this thread... particularly what MARG says towards the end.

(I made her suggested changes to product_info.php, but it did not work for me. I am using 1.3.8a.)

From the other posts I have read it was working for 1.3.7.x by setting
Configuration/My Store/Display Cart After Adding Product to false however this seems to be either not working the way it is designed in 1.3.8.x or Im completely confused as to what should happen if this is set to false.

Anyone out there with any type of idea as to how to do this it would be great as Ive hit a wall with this one.
