What i'm wanting is the homepage to always show up until the actual product list pages come up so all the navigation options are only shown in the side box. Is this possible?

Isn't that how it is now?
Might explain a bit more and maybe provide direct links to pages you do not want to see and what it is you want to see instead
At the moment when your on my homepage this is what you see...
http://www.dpmautostyling.co.uk/catalogue/
When you click on one of the product options you then see this screen...
http://www.dpmautostyling.co.uk/cata...ndex&cPath=379
and then...
http://www.dpmautostyling.co.uk/cata...&cPath=379_388
and again until you get to the actual products...
http://www.dpmautostyling.co.uk/cata..._520_1650_1464
What i want is to always show the homepage and only the navigation options shown in the sidebox until you get to a page with actual products on where the home page when then turn to...
http://www.dpmautostyling.co.uk/cata..._520_1650_1464
and then you can click on the options.
It means i would get rid of the plain white screen with the options list like these pages http://www.dpmautostyling.co.uk/cata...th=379_388_520 which aren't really needed as you can do all the navigation from the side box.
Is that clear or have i confused the matter?
Not sure on the method to suppress these intermediate pages but you will need some method to enhance your sidebox navigation..
One would be to get and install the css-flyout menu module
You can already navigate through just the side box though...
The flyout menu will let you navigate to sub-sub-subcategories in one click, by hovering on the successive categories you want to expand.
I see.
Is there a way of doing what i'm wanting to do above though?
How about this: you list all the products that belong to sub categories under the current category. Then the customers can narrow down by choosing the specific subcat they want. If you like it that way I may be able to help
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
You've lost me![]()
Can anyone tell me if what i'm wanting to do is possible?
Thanks in advance
