help question SSL setup not working

I followed the tutorial and changed both configure.php files, but it still is http. According to GoDaddy, I'm set up. What am I missing?

Is it supposed to just take the viewer from http to https or do I need to change links to be https?

I did change the link, but it gave the views a warning that the page was encrypted but not secure, so I changed it back.

    Thanks in advance!

https will only "kick in" when it's needed (registration, checkout, etc). Call up your login/register page and see if it goes to https.

Ahhhh! It works! Thanks for pointing that out to me before I started digging into the code.

For most things, it's usually not necessary to dig around in the code

Help! I have the same problem only mine still isn't working. My site is only partially encrypted and I can't figure out what's wrong. I changed the configure.php files in /includes and /admin but that didn't help. As of now my customers can't order securely which is not acceptable. I have a private SSL certificate from GoDaddy.com and my web host SiteGround.com installed it for me. I tried contacting them and they said it had nothing to do with the installation and instead "The secured pages on your web site are marked as "Partially Encrypted" due to the fact that you have standard "http://" links in the top menu. Even when accessing the checkout page via the SSL URL (using https://) the links are not changed and thus the browser marks the page as partially encrypted. This is purely a web site design issue that should be addressed on your side." What does this mean? And what can I do on my side to fix the problem? I'm frustrated and worried that my insecure site is frightening away customers. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!
    Sincerely
