    Default Attributes Error Message in Yellow Box

    Sorry, I've looked everywhere for this and can't find the answer. If an attribute is not selected by the customer, the site sends an error message in a nice yellow box but the text of the error message is awful like this : "Please change this informationTEXT_INVALID_SELECTIONplease choose". So, 1, How do I change the "Please change" etc text, ie in which file is it located and 2, How do I get rid of "TEXT_INVALID_SELECTION" ?

    Thanks

    Pete

    Pete, you might try looking here:

    includes/languages/english.php

    Around line 456, or so you should see:

    define('TEXT_INVALID_SELECTION',' You picked an Invalid Selection: ');

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks, I've been there but "TEXT_INVALID_SELECTION" shouldn't show up in the middle of the message surely ? Doesn't look very good !

    Cheers

    Nevermind. I found it. Did you make sure that this line of code:

    define('TEXT_INVALID_SELECTION',' You picked an Invalid Selection: ');

    actually has ' You picked an Invalid Selection: ' in it? If you leave it blank, like:

    define('TEXT_INVALID_SELECTION',' ');

    is usually where something like this comes from.

    Sorry, I've been outside. The URL is http://www.gardenserre.fr. Its in French so the file we're talking about is french.php but that doesn't change anything. There is text is in there, definitely not blank.

    Cheers

    Ahhh. Don't you just hate that kind of stuff? Glad to hear you got it, though. And YES, better luck tomorrow.

    With regards to the error box that shows up when a customer is creating an account and misses an attribute. My box is currently red in color and want to change it to match my colour scheme which is blue. What files do I edit?
