Some sideboxes appears in double in admin

Hi everyone,

I recently changed my website template for a new one and to do so, I had to execute a SQL patch. The problem is, I kinda executed that patch twice and now, some sideboxes are listed twice in the admin setting.

Although it causes no visible or immediate problem to the website, I'm afraid it might cause some confusion down the road. Is there a way to solve that issue?

No one answered so I'm gonna bump this thread to give it a last shot. No one knows what it could be? The repeated sideboxes seems to be working independently of each other in the admin since I could theorically have one to the right and one to the left but the files don't repeat themselves.

What is sounds like is that you have somehow gotten a double load of records in the layout_boxes table for your current template ...

If you were to browse the table via phpMyAdmin you can see them all ...

One way to fix this is to just delete all records for your current template via phpMyAdmin and then go to the Tools ... Layout Boxes Controller ... in your Admin and it will reload all the boxes to the table ...

Then, you can either hit RESET or set them up one by one how you want them to be ...
