I commented out the line at the end of index.php - I gather that they shodudn't be there. Please confirm in case they may affect functionality...

As far as the slow loading of the product pages in Firefox this didn't help...

It is bad code and thus broke ... no clue what all it may or may not be doing but I doubt it is anything good ...

Ajeh, would you have any idea what may be causing slow product pages in Firefox (IE is OK). I did remove the code you pointed to but it didn't help my slow loading in Firefox problem...

One thing that slows sites down are missing images ...

1 Switch to Classic Template ... how much faster are you?

Switch back your template ...

2 turn off the Header ... how much faster are you?

3 turn off the Footer ... how much faster are you?

4 turn off the Left Column ... how much faster are you?

Thanks, Ajeh for the testing ideas, I will do this tomorrow... Also where do you check (how can you tell?) for the missing images? I would love to know for future reference.

FireFox has some nifty features ... I think this thing is in the Web Developer something or another add-on for it ...

Good news, the add on has the words:
Web
Developer

in it and it's really popular so you should be able to find it ...

Firebug is another nice add on for it ...

One of those has nifty little tools on the menu to peek at stuff like that and I knew something was there for images and tripped over that one when looking at your site ...

Saw it a few times before ... but never can remember just what thing-a-ma-bob I pushed to get these little fellows to tell me this simple stuff ...

I just installed the Web Developer... At this point I'm not sure if I should thank you for this tip... WOW
