I'm inside the shop's admin control panel. So this is not a database password question or a linux .htaccess/.htpasswd password question either for that matter. As the server owner and admin who recently took the server through a complete rebuild, and changed the shop's confgure.php file but not the admin area's configure.php file (oops), I've already managed to bash down both the .htaccess door and the admin/configure.php door and gain access with the help of a couple of bottles of nitro to the control panel of my own cart. Now I'm sitting happily in my control panel surrounded by a bunch of debris and examining the corpses of a few unfortunate "collateral casualties".
At this point, BEFORE I begin cleaning up the mess and debris, I'd like to change my admin account's password just because it has been the same for FAR too long now; but I'l be *bleeped* if I can remember where to actually DO that. I've searched your site for an hour, I searched the database for another 45 minutes and finally found the record that contains my stored password only to find that the dad-blasted thing is encrypted. The most maddening part is I KNOW what that freakin password is but I absolutely cannot find the place to change the darned thing.
I've tried all the obvious places in this Control panel where I might be inclined to go to change the password but the password change is STILL hiding from me!
How in the heck do I do this seemingly-simple objective?
I give up. How the HELL does an admin change his own password? Or for that matter how do I change ANYONE's PASSWORD if they've lost it?
One last thing, I'd swear that somewhere the program tells me which version I'm presently running; but I can't seem to find THAT key detail either.
As you can probably tell, I'm not exactly having a good day here. ;)
Thanks!
