Free Shipping on selected customers - is it possible?

Hi

I need to offer Free Shipping on Selected customers . This not zone based customers. How can it be done so selected customers do not pay any shipping.

The easiest way is to create free shipping coupon and send to those customers.
Its drawback: they can share those coupons
You can create different coupon for each customer, each coupon can be used only once. You then have to re-create it each time a coupon is used.

The other way: code a module for it, not an easy task.
