    Default to have sidebox's as images to match my buttons

    Hi guys, i was wondering if there is a way to change the side-boxes as background images so it can match my buttons?

    i just finished creating my buttons and now decided to have my side-boxes to have the same look? right now it just doesnt click with my buttons as the button text is in white and side-boxes text is in black... please - any help will be appreciated... thanks in advance

    open your includes/templates/classic/css/stylesheet.css

    find the following:

    h3.leftBoxHeading, h3.leftBoxHeading a,
    h3.rightBoxHeading, h3.rightBoxHeading a {
    font-size: 1em;
    color: #ffffff;
    }

    Change the highlighted portion as indicated

    On a different subject: Your images are way too large in bytes for the web and this is slowing down your page loads.
    Displays only render/display at 72DPI so an image that is 1in x 1in does not have to be more than 72x72 in bytes as ths only wastes disk space, bandwidth and increases loading time.

    A good image editor can half that byte size and still retain quality.

    hi there kobra and clydejones, thanks for helping!

    first of all kobra my image sizes, button sizes are all under 3kb and some in bytes! so i dont think its the buttons slowing the site down to load... (i thought the same about everyone else's site that their images are way too heavy as it takes quite a long time to load) 95% of my images are less than 3kb! i work with graphics - its my job and i understand what your saying, your absolutly right but i think it only slows down the site when visiting an international zen cart site. i checked my site at locals, mates and apple stores and boom! comes up like a bullet! i used to think the same before your reply but now im sure its not the images(well not in my case) its something else! do you think it could be the product images? average is 90kb?

    clyde jones thanks but actually i was hoping not to just change the color...i was thinking of exactly the sam as my buttons...i wont be able to get the exact look as my buttons by just changing the color in the css file.

    instead of background color is image possible? thanks

    Just in case you're wondering, the extra > under the breadcrumb is in the templates/classic/templates/tpl_index_categories.php.

    You might want to investigate the overrides system before going much further. Upgrading is a MAJOR pain if you make the mistake of using Classic as your template. You won't even find the tpl_index_categories.php in the Classic directory of a standard load. It's in the template_default which should be the basis for your custom directory.
    A little help with colors.

    These are exactly what I was referring to as they are approx 2.5 in sq

    72x72x2.5 = 12,960 bytes or 13k and not 90+k
