Product listing layout problem

What i would like to do is display the option dropbox where the price and quantity box currently are. For example, instead of the customer ordering 4 x 250g bags of test fruit, they can instead select the 1kg option from a drop box.

One would have to custom code the product listing array to get what you want
Not impossible but not something that a few posts here can accomplish
If this is paramount to you try posting in the commercial help section on this forum
