Default mod or dev recommendations?, please.

    Greetings,

We have been using (and loving) ZC for almost a year now but we have a few problems we would really like to resolve...

We get customers that (for whatever reason) say they don't get the password reminder email (even though 95% of our other customers do).

We get customers that put in the wrong shipping address or billing address (or don't update them if they move). Sometimes we can catch this with the different shipping companies software, but have no way to edit the information in the database.

Even though we really try to discourage phone orders we have customers that insist on calling in their orders.

So, is there a stable module that would allow us to login as the customer, edit any of the customers information? Passwords, shipping address, billing address, etc., or place their order.

I have seen a couple of mods that might handle this but after hours of searching cannot find a list what they can or can't do. Any recommendations?

If not, can you recommend a good developer that might take this on for us? It just seems that we cant be the only ones having these problems, and we have no problems releasing the work to the community if the Dev doesn't.

    Thanks in advance,

    Steve

    Thanks for the response kobra,

I saw Master Pass but really couldn't find a support thread that said what it actually did. I will definitely check it out, 95% sounds great to me!

I will post up to the wish list forum for anything it does not do. I totally forgot about that forum.

Thank You again for your response,

    Steve

I've been using the regular (unencrypted) Master Password module for a couple of years, and it works fine. All it does is add a field in Admin - Configuration - My Store where you can specify a master password which allows you to enter any customer's account, using their email address.

My guess on the emails is that those customers use free email services (Yahoo, AOL, etc) and your emails end up in the SPAM box in most cases.
