Help Needed!! - General Product type

Hi everybody,
New to the Zen Cart. Not making out too bad. Nice little software.


The problem I'm having is I want to add 3 or 4 additional product informational fields to the General Product Type. I don't see a way of doing this and I'm assuming it's not easy. If somebody could send me some detailed instructions that would be very much appreciated.

Here's an example of what I'm looking to add.

Fuel Type Electric
Year 1980
Condition Excellent
Type New

You have a couple of choices - You can create a new Product type and add your additional fields or you can use the Read Only Attributes.
