If I try to add an additional attribute to the product that falls outside of the product attributes grid (for example a radio button that is always selected), it seems to break the product attribute grid.
I set up my attributes as follows....
I have an attribute called "Module Type" which is set up as a dropdown. I have another attribute called "Quantity" which is set up a a radio button, and has a single blank value assigned to it.
This creates a product attribute grid with 2 columns and x-number of rows. The left column is module type and the right column has boxes where the customer can enter the quantities.
That all works fine, but when I add another attribute (a radio button for example), it turns off the grid and my attributes that were in the grid revert back to a dropdown (where I cannot select individual quantities).
I though about just adding another value to the "Module Type" attribute called "service charge" and assigning the one-time charge to it, but that will put it in the product attribute grid. I have no way to insure that the customer actually selects that particular attribute let alone only select one.
Any ideas???
