How Do I remove divisions from the template?

I have created a custom template and have removed unwanted boxes and changed the style sheets, however I can't work out how to edit the HTML to remove some unwanted divisions. When I use firefox and firebug I can see the code I need to edit, I just can't seem to find it in the files.
I am using Dreamweaver in code view.

You may have to be more specific about what you're trying to accomplish since the html is built "on the fly".

Admin > Tools > Developers Tool Kit

That will allow you to search all files and find the one to edit.
You just need to focus on searching for specific words, not code.

Developers Tool Kit

admin panel/ tools/ developers tool kit/
1. In the bottom box (left hand corner) enter in the Search wording= navMainSearch
2. Click the drop down menu under All Files Look-ups: Choose: All Files-Catalog/Admin
3. Click search, and WALA, you will find the files associated with this search.
4. Open that file in a good text editor and change the Wording
