    Default ACK!!! duplicate order numbers?!

I just moved my shop (1.3.8) from one server to another. Everything *seemed* to move OK. The shop looks and appears to work fine. And new orders are being recorded in the dbase... and I get an email notifying me of each new order.

But the order numbers are duplicating -- #125, then #126, then #125 again, then #127, then #128, then #127 again, then #128 again -- and the second instance of the order number appears to be overwriting the original order (!) as the first instance no longer appears in the lost of orders. I have an email telling me what it was.... but its no longer in the dbase.

I'm not a dbase guru. Has anyone see this before? Does anyone have a clue as to how I can fix it?

Hope me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.

After you "moved" did you Reset Cache Key?

I ran the php file that mentioned in the "how-to" page. Nothing pop-ed up and said "you've screwed up!". So I assumed that it had worked OK.

Should I re-run it, ya' think?

If you got a blank page, then everything's ok with cache.

But what's going on with the order numbers... a mystery.

red flag Re: ACK!!! duplicate order numbers?!

I'm still having problems, folks. I was notified about order #130 by email. But its not in the list.

I've looked at the db using phpmyAdmin and #130 isn't in the db -- so its not a matter of the php screwing up and not displaying it. It really isn't there.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I found it! I forgot to update PayPal with the new server name in the PayPal IPN urls.

    Doh!
