setting specific quantities to buy

I am getting pretty good at zen cart but the one thing i dont know yet is how to set a specific item to have set quantities for sale. Lets say i want the min. order for and item to be 500 and then the next to be a 1000 then the next to be 1500. and those are the only quantity selections.. any ideas?

Just wondering if you were able to solve this? I am trying to do the same thing, but not sure how to do it.

I know you can increase the quantities by a specific amount (ie intervals of 500) but some of mine go from intervals of 500 to 1000 (ie 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 5000).

If you do not want to allow more than the highest listed quantity to be purchased, you can limit the quantity to 1 in the product editing page, and make an attribute with values of say 500, 1000 and 2500, each with its total price. Then the quantity selection will happen in an attribute dropdown or radiobuttons instead of in the add to cart button box.
