Larger Image not showing larger issue

I've seen this posted quite a bit and I just figured out the problem.

The issue is when you are quite certain you have sized your images correctly, named them correctly and put them all in the right folders, and the larger image doesn't pop up as a larger image, just the same size thumbnail.

What I found was in the main Images folder, the thumbnails I uploaded for some reason uploaded with the .jpg extension in all caps, .JPG. Therefore those did not match the MED and LRG images, whose extensions where all correctly lower case.

I'm not sure why this happens, maybe someone else can clarify. I was able to rename them after uploading and then had to re-upload the main image to solve the problem.

It doesn't happen all the time, just part of the time. As I never add the .jpg myself, either Zen or my computer does, I'm not sure why this problem crops occassionally but not all the time.

If you're on UNIX/LINUX (which is best, of course ) then names and file extensions are case sensitive.

I always use lower case in filenames and extensions - then, if I ever see uppercase, I know it can cause problems, so I change it.
