Everything shows errors

HELP!!

I have had my site on line for a couple of months, it has worked fine the way is is configured until yesterday.

When I first load my home page it is fine, but if I refresh or try to go to one of my links, I am getting warnings for a number of things at the top, all of the product and other links vanish, and I get mysql errors appear at the bottom
My first thought was a hack, My host said no, I tried to see if i could find any programing/ code mistakes( from my very limited knowledge) and I could not.

Can anyone help?

There's something odd about the setup, Kobra. The errors are indicating /public_html/public_html/

Thanks for your checking out this mess today!!

Someone/omehow it has straightened out and is now working fine.

I do not know if it was my host or what.

I really would like to know what caused it so that I can prevent it from happening again

Did you create a dir. yourself, called 'public_html' for your Zen Cart?
If yes, that was wrong.

http://normancom.com/index.html << this works just fine.

http://normancom.com/index.php << this would works just fine for Zen Cart.

You need to change things around. Either rename the dir. you created called 'public_html' to something like 'store' or 'shop', or move all your Zen Cart files/directories up one level. Remember to change your config files accordingly.

I did do the public_html, the reason was was that I was having a hard time getting it to install. I will make the changes and rename right away.

Is that why it started showing those strange errors??
