pass variables using php into cart/database

I've tried researching this on my own but looks like I need some help.

What I am trying to do:

There is a check domain availability script installed on page "A" that is not a part of Zencart.
Customer enters the domain, a whois scan is performed and availability results are displayed.
Next to those results, I've coded in a "buy now" button which is passing the selected available domain name onto Zencart product_info page and displays it in the product description field.
So far so good. Here's the problem:
Instead of having a customer re-enter that same domain name into the text field of an attribute to get it registered on their cart, invoice, etc... how can I make that variable passed to that attribute's text field on its own?
If such isn't possible.. is there another suggestion that you may make?
