Downloadable Products

Hi

Very new to ALL of this, am trying to set up on online store for music downloads and have become totally and utterly stuck and confused I have managed to create an entry for a product but can't seem to get the redirect bit working - any advice would be welcome!!

Thanks for that, I've got a test product up and downloadable but i keep getting 'file not found' when i click on the download link. Any idea where I might be going wrong?

When you add the Download to the shopping cart ... do you see the Download in the shopping cart?

When you complete the Order ... do you see either a Download Unavailable or anything referencing the Download?

If you look at the Product in the Attributes Controller do you see a green dot next to the filename?

Are you using any spaces or special characters in the filename?

Thanks, have managed to sort it out - had stupidly entered the full path for the file instead of just the filename Ah, well - it's a learning curve...

Thanks for the update on what was happening on this to prevent the Download from working correctly ...

It is always a great help when questions have both the problem and solution added ... even if you have to trip over the solution yourself ...
