Can you Can you exclude shipping cost from the group discounts?

Is there a way to exclude the shipping cost from group discounts. I want to offer a percentage discount on the goods but not on what I pay to ship them.

I have searched but cannot find an answer.
Any help would be very appreciated.

With Super Orders contribution, I noticed that the discount onlu applies to the products not the billed amount.

I think you might want to play with the sort order. Making shipping last could be the solution.

Thanks for the replies. I am not sure what you mean by the sort orders (putting shipping last). My products have sort orders but shipping is calculated using Australian Post module.

It sounds like i have to install the Super Orders Module to resolve this. I was hoping there was an easier way. I am using the newest version as well and I am not sure if the Super Orders Module is compatible with the earlier version 3.6?

check your admin > modules > order total

That is where I needed to correct it.
I had include shipping ticked in the group discount part of the module.
