Step 3 takes me to shopping cart instead of google checkout

Hi guys,

I tried searching for the answer, but got lost in a sea of posts! So I apologise if this has already been covered.

I'm new to Zen Cart and have very limited html and php knowledge.

I installed google checkout following the instructions provided. Indeed, when the user gets to step 2 of the checkout process, "GoogleCheckout" is listed as the only payment method. So that much worked. At step 3 however, confirming the order sends the user back to the shopping cart with no hint that Google Checkout was called at all.

Have I missed something blatantly obvious? Should Google Checkout be implemented in a different way? If so, how?

I would really appreciate any help that could be offered.

Yeah, I've had the same problem. I gave up and went to paypal though, because it seems to work fine for everyone else. While I'd rather have GC, I realize that after spending 40+ hours trying to make it worth wasn't worth it when I can just use the paypal stuff. I had paypal installed in about 5 minutes. I couldn't believe how easy it was next to GC.

Just got to figure out why Google Checkout is apparently wanting a US address now...

Ok, it turns out the US address problem was associated with using Google Checkout in "Sandbox" mode. I switched over to the standard merchant mode but now I get an "Oops! We were unable to process your request." message from Google whenever I click the Google Checkout button.

Any ideas?

I am getting the error "Oops we were unable to process your request " in Google checkout as well. Have you been able to resolve this error?

I am now having this problem too after having it working, anyone get it working?
