    Default Google checkout and default checkout

    I have set up google checkout on my website for processing orders.
    On the main download page for this module, it says that it supports flat rates, item rates and table rates. But I have set up shipping based on zone rates modules. So will this be a problem in integrating google checkout on my website?

    I have another 2 questions regarding the checkout process.

    I have noticed that once the customer views shopping cart, it displays the "go to checkout" default button and below that it displays the google checkout button. It gives the option for checkout by displaying the "go to checkout" default button or google checkout button. On clicking the "go to checkout" default button when customer is not logged in, it goes to registration/login page. If they are logged on, it will go the delivery information page and it states the following.

    HTML Code:
    [U]
    Not Available At This Time
    Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.
    Please contact us for alternate arrangements. [/U]
    Why do i get this message?

    However on clciking the google checkout button, it displays some xml error as below.

    Code:
            This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

    −
    	<error serial-number="2704fe6f-bcfd-487b-86e2-fef07f963b40">
    −
    	<error-message>
    The address that you are shipping from is invalid. Please send a correct US address.
    </error-message>
    </error>
    If the customer checkouts with google, then will it still require login information?
    And I am wanting google checkout as the only payment system for my website, I want to get rid of the other checkout system or disbale it. Please help?

    I am getting the same message

    Re: Problems with Google Checkout
    How can we get rid of the Checkout Button located on the shopping cart page. I have already disabled the credit card checkout process. If you do hit the Go To Checkout button, then you get the below message and if you try to go to Step 3, you get a warning box saying:

    "Errors have occurred during the processing of your form
    Please make the following corrections:
    *Please select a payment method for your order.."

    How can I get rid of this option/button completely? If you have any questions, you can go to www.desertskyink.net. Please help!!! Thx much.

    Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region at this time.

    What i have done is use paypal payments standard. That works fine.
    Google checkout is like an alternative. I think users that checkout usinggoogle do not have to register or log in.

    I did set it up to work with Paypal as well, but it seems that the Google checkout is a little cheaper for processing payments. There has to be a way to get rid of the checkout button though, otherwise customers that click on the Checkout button will run into problems.

    Quickest way, without altering core files, would be to make checkout
    button into transparent gif.. that way, image wont show.

    Thx for the input.

    Ok, I tried to add a transparent button but now there is a large space at the bottom of the shopping cart contents.

    Also, if the customer clicks 'checkout' at the top left of the website, they are taken to the default (Step 1 of 3) checkout process and they get the above mentioned error(s) everytime. And, after you get in this loop, if the customer clicks the 'Back To Shopping' button, they are taken back to the Step 1 of 3 checkout process.

    Any suggestions (Besides not using Google Checkout)?

    The other issue i had with google checkout is that it does not support the zones shipping module. Paypal standard supports this.
