I've finally got the program installed and received notification the I should reset the configure.php files back to read only. I did so making the settings 644 on both files and when I go to reopen ZC I got the page which says If this is the first time opening the program install it. If not, you have changes the settings in a .php file and need to fix it. All I did to the files were to change the permissions!
Help, what did I do wrong? I have version 1.3.8

Did you delete the zc_install directory?
