Can't post images

With some recent hosting company server changes we have begun getting the following error message when we try to post new product pictures thru ZenCart admin.

Catalog images directory is not writeable: /home2/kispisp/public_html/cart/images/

I have looked at the permissions on the folder and they are at 777 which I think is correct. The hosting company is telling us everything looks good on their end.

Did you check / change the permissions using FTP, or on the C-Panel facility?

Sometimes you can only set 777 on the C-Panel interface, not via your FTP connection.

If the settings are truly 777, then only your host can help as this is then some peculiar server config...
