Authorize.net (SIM) - Doesn't do Level II processing...?

I just wanted to confirm that the Authorize.net (SIM) module doesn't do Level II processing. That is, breaking out of tax from the base cost of items sold as part of the gateway transaction request. Our client is going through Wells Fargo as their bank and this is a service they provide.

If this is true ... does anyone have a solution? My searches only turn up Google's gateway for such cart/transaction styles.

Zen Cart will do this and it will be represented on the order and invoice etc.

One should not have to pass this to a third party

I think the AIM module does that. Don't know about the SIM one.
