Cannot add products to categories

Hi guys,

I have for hours now tried to add products to my categories which I set up.

Somehow though, even though I have added no sub-categories to the top level it says that evry category has subcategories against them and therefore I cannot add products to the top level.

When I click on the folder icon in front of the category it lets me go to the next page where I have a button to 'Add Products'.

Clicking on the button then takes me to a blank page wher it says the page does not exist???

The athe in the window is: /admin/categories.php?product_type=1&cPath=14&action=new_product&x=60&y=11

I am completely lost now and have not found any way to do this.

Hope someone here can shed some light on this for me.

Categories hold Categories or Products ... never both ...

When a Category is added the New Product button disappears ...

NOTE: based on the second part of your error, it sounds like bad or missing files in the /admin or one or more of its subdirectories ...

You can just reload the /admin and all of its files and subdirectories and see if this corrects the problem ...
