Main Content Box Colour Vs. Background Colour

Hi,

I've searched the forum and can't seem to find an answer to this specific quest but apologies if this is a double post.

I'm trying to figure out a way to change the colour of the main content box (the box that contains all the products...the one that says 'new for the month of...) while keeping the background a different colour. i want to give the main content box a white background while giving the background for the rest of the column grey. right now i've changed the colour of the individual content items that reside in the main content box to white but since the image sizes are varied, it's a little unsightly and there are plenty of gaps where the background grey shows through. But when i change the column colours to white, it make everything white which is not what i want.

anyways, apologies for the longwinded post. so is there anyone out there that knows what the heck i'm talking about and can actually point me in the right direction to fix it?

Just curious, what was the fix in the stylesheet.css declaration value??

it was the .contentBoxWrapper class that needed fixing. once i adjusted that and the .contentBox class, it worked.
